It's nearing 5.30, and I bet everyone's asleep. SO why would a seventeen year old boy be doing awake at 5+ in the morning on his dad's PC.

I'm not crazy. My parents are bringing Joel and I on a tour around China. Like who wants to see china. Joel and I are pretty against the tour, but our parents insisted.

The parents had an argument with us last night. My dad didn't believe that we cacn wake up on time for the tour. SO I woke up at 4.

My mum got kiasu over recycled water bottle. So I swapped all the recycled water bottle in the travel pack for new ones. I mean, we have tonnes of un-opened bottles at home. And I got scoulded up down left right for taking a new one.

The past two days have been kinda fun though. We went shopping. An boy, should you see my mum bargains. She reduced every offered price t a third of it's value.

Most of the jeans that I bought costs 165 yen. Divide that by 5 to get the singapopre value.
I got my clothes for a cheaper 100 yen for 2.

Oh, and I got the zippo lighter dirt cheap.
There was also this playboy accesory that I liked, but my dad just wouldn't let me buy.
OKay, maybe brining a playboy water bottle to school may be a bad idea, but hey. It's for the dare.

I went to shop for christmas ornaments yesteday. My mum didn't like the idea. SO she wasn't in favour for buying.
Dad howvere, showed little resistence.
He finally agreed when I told them, "How would you feel if you were not invited to YOUR OWN birthday party"
My dad got a couple of stuff, but mym mum wouldn't buy this nice christmas tree decoration just because it cost 4 bucks. =.=

Well, My mum's awake. Joel and I are gonna carry out plan B - Groan, whine, complain and die of hunger.

how can one work in such freezing conditions? Shang Hai has it's plus and minuses. Plus If I'm a girl. Minus If I'm a boy.

There's a shopping center nearby that sells stuff that is kinda cheaper than in Singapore. Basically, a shopping paradise. The shopping center overlaps a three rail lines intersect. It's kinda like dhoby ghaut MRT back in singapore. But this time, it's three lines. So It's kinda bustling down here. My mum said that it's kind of like Orchard road meets Ang Mo Kio.

But being a boy, I'm absolutely not interested in the shops. Instead, I'm keeping my eyes peeled for cinemas and cyber cafes. One, so that I'm able to resume garena with my school friends back at home, and I'm also able t enjoy the new movies that are coming out.

Oh, guess what. My dad's cable TV is pirated. I was joking with my mum how everything she buys is always pirated. So I meant it as a joke when I told her that maybe dad's cable was pirated.

And she said yes. =.=

One more thing, I know this sounds stupid, but I accidentally destroyed one of the toilet bowls at the malaysian airport.

No, not with my ass. Please.

Okay. I'm on china. The trip was kinda.... well... lets just say that china has a very bad airport.

The guitar that I brought to china snapped. Okay, The first string snapped. but i DID put fragile on both sides.

Trust those idiots to screw up my baggage.

On the brighter side, I met A guy name Eugene on the plane to china. Kinda cool, I'm gonna link his blog soon.

Anyway, My dad's new apartment is smaller. My bedroom is a storeroom. I kinda feel like I'm Harry Potter, living in the cupboard under the stairs.

The air here is obviously dryer. And the chill. My face wash is frozen, my hands are NUMB and I spent half the day watching dad's dvd.

Stuff here is dirt cheap though. Grocery that costs 4 bucks in singapopre would cost 80 cents here.

Well, I don't have much time to spend on the com. So I'm gonna run.



Shanghai is pushing 3 degrees Celsius, and I'm about to go there the day after tomorrow.

I'm not entirely excited to go to china. Never did like the atmosphere there.

Oh and the shopping.... Shopping during winter simply turns you off.

The beach party was awesome. There was soccer, handball, dodgeball, monkey (water variation) Sand wars (In which Daryl and Viknesh were at each other's neck) water polo, and then land rugby.

I counted 6 bruises during rugby. And that was because the other team had Viknesh and Shou Heng.

okay, side notes: Despite being late, the good weather held up and it didn't rain. Thanks to all my friends, and most importantly, thank you lord. =P

I'm getting my promo results tomorrow. And the same old scared atmosphere settles in.
But I believe I'm protected. I believe that I'll survive.
I may bid goodbye to some of my friends, but I know deep in my heart that there's one friend that I will never say goodbye to.

Speaking of which, I've decided to blog about my success in life.

Most people determine success as how much you have achieve in your life time
Some may even determine success with the number of friends you have
Or how much fun your life may be
Or even how famous or popular you are.

But to me, success is on how much I am able to change the world around me.
In the past, I wanted to be everything. I wanted to be an astronaut, I wanted to be a fireman, I wanted to be an actor, I even wanted to be a swimmer.

But as I grew, realism begins to settle, and my aspirations dwindled drastically. I find myself losing all my goals in life, trading precious time for entertainment.
And finally, one goal remained. That is to influenced others around me. To change thousands.

i realised that my youth were merely stepping stones to my future.
The opportunity to attend presentation workshops. The chance to assist in courses. The ability to visit almost every continent before I was 12. All this were simply small tiny steps that would eventually pave my future.

Even if I have so many complains I would like to voice out. I can't because I've been blessed.

So am I successful? Not yet. But I will be.
First I will change the way I play in dota.

Goal no.1 : Win the next dota match with my JC friends.
Goal no.2 : Brush up on my presentation skill.
Goal no.3 : My Hope Singapore.




Logic teaches me that I should not be standing there without protective gears on...
